Preview of the movie Doc Dao episode 3
'Muscle' Duong could not meet Le Toan so he tried to contact Hong. Duong wanted to switch from cooperating with Hong's father to doing business directly with Hong. Hong seemed to understand the meaning of the 'hometown gift' that Duong mentioned but pretended not to know. Hong suggested that Duong use Toan Lam's delivery service and promised a discount if he said that Hong had introduced him.
Duong was not satisfied with Hong's answer and it seemed that he took a displeased action to show his disagreement.
Khuong returned home looking strange, wearing a raincoat and a mask even though it wasn't raining, probably to hide the wounds on his face.
Long officially took up his new assignment and attended the reunion dinner at Phung’s house. Tram asked Long if he would stay here for a few years, and Long replied that he would probably stay until he retired.
Phung gently reminded Long not to worry as he was only staying to check on the business and would leave after taking care of some matters. Long responded tactfully, saying that any decision on whether to stay or leave was up to Phung, the leader, to decide.
The story leaves the question of whether Ban Moc will ever have peaceful days when there are such upheavals.
“The Unique Way” tells the story of Hong’s journey to find justice for his family – an unfortunate child who lost both his parents and his only relative, his younger brother. After the great incident, Hong became a homeless child and was taken home by Mrs. Moc – the second wife of Le Toan, a mafia boss who has now washed his hands of crime. Hong was trusted by Mr. Toan and chosen to run the Le family’s business.
As he investigates the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects that Mr. Toan is involved with three dangerous drug lords. Hong is caught in a battle between gratitude and skepticism, between good and evil, as he continues his search for the truth.
While Hong was following the bosses, he did not know that all of his actions as well as the criminal group were under the police's surveillance. Lieutenant Colonel Long - Head of the Drug Investigation Department was transferred from the province to work as deputy to Phung - Head of the District Police; at the same time, he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realizes Hong is an important factor in the investigation and decides to use Hong as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long gets closer to the "bosses" and the location of the secret drug bunker. As they delve deeper into their target, Long and Hong realize that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial benefits is a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude", "familial love" turned into "hostility" between people who considered each other brothers, comrades on the same front...
The film focuses on Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the plots of those who spread "white death" to society for money. The film helps viewers better understand the police force - those who always silently sacrifice, risk their lives to protect the peace of the Fatherland.
