In a scene from episode 30 of "The Lone Path," Quoc reports to Phung and Long about the situation on smuggling routes. Quoc points out the red line on the map, which is a familiar "smuggling route" to the police and is now very tightly controlled.

Recently, smugglers have been using this route multiple times, leading Quoc to suspect it's a diversionary tactic. He and Phung began to suspect the green route more, but Long thought it was unlikely. Nevertheless, Long agreed to form a team to investigate the green route.
Phùng proposed a division of tasks: his and Quốc's group would be in charge of the red section of the route, while Long's group would check the green section. However, Long expressed skepticism about Phùng's proposal.
At the end of episode 29, while planning the shipment, Quân "the old man" instructed Hồng to go with Lý "the squint-eyed" while Nghĩa and Khương went through the forest. In episode 30, Khương and Nghĩa followed orders and encountered a man on a motorbike. Khương immediately recited a coded message: "Sell white ginseng, buy purple ginseng." Hearing this, the man led the way for Khương and Nghĩa.

Hong suggested that "Old Man" Quan let Ly go alone while he transported the goods and delivered them directly to Mr. Cu's men. But "Old Man" Quan disagreed: "I only feel safe when the guy who devised the plan is in the vehicle on the ground. You go with Ly, and Nghia and Khuong will handle the jungle route."
Hong and Ly then went to the delivery location together. On the way, Hong joked, "I'll probably get punished in there. Remember to light an incense stick for me on this day," which made Ly tremble with fear. Hong continued, "I probably won't be beaten to death, but I'm unlikely to come out unscathed. Take me to the hospital; if it's too serious, go to the district hospital." Before getting out of the car, Hong told Ly, "Once the job is done, get out of here immediately. Don't let Khuong know."

Just as Hong had predicted, as soon as he arrived, he was immediately knocked down by Mr. Cu's men. He tried to explain, "It was just an accident, uncle," but Mr. Cu wouldn't accept it, ordering his henchmen to beat Hong for messing things up. "Beat him to death, I'll take the blame," he said, showing his firmness in "managing" Hong on orders from "Old Man" Quan.

"The Lone Path" tells the story of Hong, an unfortunate child who lost both parents and his only remaining relative, as he seeks justice for his family. After this great tragedy, Hong becomes a homeless wanderer and is taken in by Mrs. Moc, the second wife of Le Toan, a former gangster who has since retired. Toan trusts Hong and chooses him to manage the Le family's business empire.
While investigating the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects Mr. Toan is connected to three dangerous drug lords. Hong is drawn into a battle between gratitude and suspicion, between good and evil, as he continues his search for the truth.
While Hong was tracking the drug lords, he was unaware that all his actions, as well as those of his criminal group, were under the surveillance of the police. Lieutenant Colonel Long, the head of the drug investigation department, had been transferred from the province to serve as deputy to Phung, the district police chief; he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realized Hong was a crucial element in the investigation and decided to use her as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long moved closer to the "kingpins" and the secret drug bunker. As they delved deeper into their goal, Long and Hong discovered that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial gains lay a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude," where "friendship" turned into "hostility" between people who once considered each other brothers and comrades on the same front...
The film centers around Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the conspiracy of those who, for money, spread "white death" (heroin) throughout society. The film helps viewers better understand the police force – those who silently sacrifice themselves, facing dangers to protect the peace of the nation.
