The preview for episode 36 - the final episode of *The Lone Path* - delivers dramatic and touching moments.
During Quân's escape, Hồng managed to catch up. The drug lord quickly called his henchmen for backup: "Catch me!"
Hong didn't give him a chance to negotiate; as soon as she appeared, she was determined to eliminate the old man.
The gang leader carried his familiar sword. Facing Hong, he drew it, but still tried to negotiate: "Think again, we can reach an agreement, we can negotiate."

However, after the brutal things that old Quân had done to Hồng's family and himself, he no longer wanted to hear anything from the old man.
The question is: Will Quân's henchmen arrive in time to rescue him? Or will the police arrive in time to rescue Hồng and apprehend the drug kingpin?
The final episode of "The Lone Path" promises a happy ending for Hong and Diem, two characters who have both suffered greatly. Having weathered many storms and overcome the clutches of the old man Quan, they gradually come to understand, love, and appreciate each other more.
A touching moment unfolds when Hong surprises Diem with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. After so much suffering, Diem finally finds happiness with a kind and sincere man like Hong.

Furthermore, with the conclusion of the investigation, Phung, the district police chief, had to face legal consequences. Long, the deputy district police chief and also Phung's classmate, understood the reasons why he had gone astray.
Long comforted Phung: "I believe your superiors will understand. As for your wife and children, my colleagues and I will take care of them for you."

Hearing those words, Phung felt a sense of relief. He knew that he had been wrong in the whole affair, but there were still some things he had done right. Even so, he couldn't help but feel regret: "The only thing is that I have lost my honor."
As a former competent official, this is what troubles Phung the most.
Tune in to episode 36 - the final episode of the series "Doc Dao" (The Unique Path) airing at 9:40 PM on Wednesday (November 20th) on VTV3!
"The Lone Path" tells the story of Hong, an unfortunate child who lost both parents and his only remaining relative, as he seeks justice for his family. After this great tragedy, Hong becomes a homeless wanderer and is taken in by Mrs. Moc, the second wife of Le Toan, a former gangster who has since retired. Toan trusts Hong and chooses him to manage the Le family's business empire.
While investigating the cause of his parents' deaths, Hong suspects Mr. Toan is connected to three dangerous drug lords. Hong is drawn into a battle between gratitude and suspicion, between good and evil, as he continues his search for the truth.
While Hong was tracking the drug lords, he was unaware that all his actions, as well as those of his criminal group, were under the surveillance of the police. Lieutenant Colonel Long, the head of the drug investigation department, had been transferred from the province to serve as deputy to Phung, the district police chief; he was also Long's long-time friend.
Long realized Hong was a crucial element in the investigation and decided to use her as part of his crime-solving strategy. Long moved closer to the "kingpins" and the secret drug bunker. As they delved deeper into their goal, Long and Hong discovered that behind the large shipments, the crimes, and the financial gains lay a "history" of "hatred" and "gratitude," where "friendship" turned into "hostility" between people who once considered each other brothers and comrades on the same front...
The film centers around Hong, a victim of crime, exposing the conspiracy of those who, for money, spread "white death" (heroin) throughout society. The film helps viewers better understand the police force – those who silently sacrifice themselves, facing dangers to protect the peace of the nation.
