Summary of episode 6 of the series "Evil Mother, Angel Father"
In episode 6 of the drama "Evil Mother, Angel Father," Thang (Minh Hang) encourages her husband, Loc, to strive for a promotion to Department Head. However, Loc refuses, saying he doesn't want to be a manager because he finds it too difficult for his wife.
In another development, Emma suddenly called Thang to inform him that Tuong Anh – Emma's friend from SS International School – was about to arrive at the airport. Emma suggested that Thang take Tram Anh to meet Tuong Anh for assistance with the entrance exam.
After meeting and assessing her, Tuong Anh put Tram Anh on the waiting list for admission. Although Tram Anh was very cute, she didn't know addition or subtraction, nor was she fluent in foreign languages. In a private conversation with Emma, Tuong Anh commented that Tram Anh was only suitable for regular schools, not prestigious international schools like SS.
The biometric results showed that Tram Anh had no special talents. Thang was sad and disappointed, blaming himself – a "big shot" – for having given birth to a "dove." Thang refused to back down, even blaming her husband for not taking care of their child, comparing him to Huy Coi – who always prepared everything for their child from birth. "If you can't take care of our child, you're doing a crime against our child!"
Lộc remained silent, not wanting to argue. He quietly went into the bedroom with his daughter. However, out of love for his wife, Lộc only sulked for a moment before returning to the bedroom to hug her and agree to her wishes. Tat Thang, wanting his daughter to get a good education and attend a prestigious school, adopts a strict parenting style; however, this creates tension in both his marriage and his relationship with his daughter.
The appearance of Gia Han (Jun Vu), Tan Loc's ex-girlfriend, further complicates the situation, pushing Tat Thang to decide to divorce her husband, whom she considers weak.
Meanwhile, Tram Anh witnesses family conflicts and decides to leave home, causing panic within the family.
The film "Evil Mom, Angel Dad" is not only a story about the tensions in raising children, but also offers lessons about family relationships, especially how to cope with the difficulties of parenting.
Director Vu Ngoc Dang drew inspiration from the book "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" to create this story, reflecting situations that viewers can easily recognize in real life, thereby conveying messages about family relationships, misunderstandings, and challenges in marriage.
