The victory at Binh Gia not only had immense strategic significance but also affirmed the fighting spirit and determination to win of our army and people, especially the Southern Liberation Armed Forces, in leading and conducting the revolutionary war.
The victory at Binh Gia was a brilliant milestone in the resistance war against the US. General Hoang Van Thai, former Deputy Minister of National Defense, once remarked: "A small-scale campaign but with strategic significance, marking the beginning of a new era of the revolutionary war in Southern Vietnam."
This victory not only affirmed military strength but also marked a crucial turning point in the nation's comprehensive resistance struggle.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Binh Gia victory, a special art program themed "The Epic of the Binh Gia Victory" will take place on the evening of December 2nd in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
The program consists of three parts: The Call of the Homeland, Glorious Victory, and Pride of the Heroic Homeland, bringing together many famous artists such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Khanh Ngoc, Trong Tan, Vo Ha Tram, along with the Lac Viet and Nhat Nguyet dance groups and local performers.
