The Miss Universe Philippines 2018 final night has just concluded with Catriona Gray deservedly winning the title.
Outshining 39 other contestants, Catriona Gray (contestant number 20 from Albay) was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 and will represent the country at Miss Universe 2018.

For beauty pageant fans around the world, the name Catriona Gray is no longer unfamiliar, as she was Miss World Philippines 2016 and represented the Philippines at Miss World 2016. At this biggest beauty pageant in the world, she impressively made it into the Top 5.
Her continued participation in the Miss Universe pageant in Binibining Pilipinas received enthusiastic support from audiences both in the Philippines and internationally. During the Q&A segment, Catriona Gray received the following question:"The armed conflict has ended and Marawi is on the road to recovery. What message would you like to send to the young women in Marawi?"
Catriona Gray replied:"My message to the women there is to always be strong, because we are the heads of our families, influencing not only our families but also society. If we can encourage women to always be strong and be a good role model for young people and those around them, then when the reconstruction is complete, the spirit and morale of the community will be even stronger."
