The new generation Kia K7 has been revealed.
The South Korean automaker has released images of a new-designed large sedan, expected to launch in 2016.
The K7 is also known as the Cadenza outside of the Korean market. The 2016 version, which Kia calls the new generation, features a redesigned exterior that the Korean automaker wants to use to compete with other large luxury sedans. It boasts a distinctive tiger-nose grille, LED headlights, and muscular fenders.

Although detailed specifications for the K7 have not yet been revealed, according to Worldcarfans, the 2016 K7 is longer, wider, and lower than its predecessor. The new generation K7 features a long hood, chrome-plated dual exhaust pipes, and LED taillights.
The trunk lid bears the inscription "3.3", referring to the new 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 390 horsepower. This engine is being developed for Hyundai's luxury sedan, the Genesis G90, and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The interior sketches of the 2016 K7 reveal Hyundai's use of premium materials such as wood trim and metallic accents, a new three-spoke steering wheel, a leather-wrapped center console, and a large infotainment screen.
According to plan, the 2016 Kia K7 will be launched in 2016.
