“Tuong Tu Nang Vi Giam” is a combination of Vi Phuong Vai and rap. The song is about a scholar in the past who studied hard and had great ambitions. By chance, on his way home to pay respect to his ancestors, he caught the eyes and singing of a Vi Giam girl on the peaceful and clear Lam River. He was captivated by her soulful melody and passionate eyes. From then on, he decided to go with her to the ends of the earth, together building a hundred-year happiness.

The MV “Tuong tu nang vi giam” is built in an ancient style, the scene is staged on Lam river with a wooden boat creating an ancient scene as beautiful as a watercolor painting. With a youthful music style, Lo The Anh skillfully combined vi ngay thuong and ancient vi giam melodies through the voice of Meritorious Artist Minh Thanh, creating a harmony between youthful music and Nghe Tinh folk songs.

The MV is also a film depicting the unique cultural features of the Nghe people with the land of hard work and rise, with famous talents from hundreds of years ago; The Vi Giam countryside through the MV is also the countryside with many sacred cultural sediments that have been preserved, promoted and kept until today.

Lo The Anh said: Through the MV, I want to bring to audiences near and far the cultural features of Nghe An and bring Vi Giam to young people in the most familiar way. To release this MV, my team and I invested about 8 months of time. First, we had to book a schedule with the music director and the photography director, then we had to unify the idea and develop each film and each scene carefully and in the most detailed way, in order to bring out the soul of "Tuong Tu Nang Vi Giam".

Born and raised in the mountainous region of Yen Hoa (Tuong Duong), although the poor and remote countryside had no means of audio-visual entertainment, nor large or small stages, The Anh still "found" his own captivating music.

Right after graduating from high school, although no one in his family was in the arts, Thế Anh soon received the approval of his parents and siblings when choosing music as his career path. Therefore, Thế Anh took the entrance exam to the Provincial College of Culture and Arts, majoring in Vocal Music to continue his dream of becoming a singer.

After graduating from the Provincial College of Culture and Arts, The Anh was accepted into the Provincial Traditional Song and Dance Troupe (now the Provincial Traditional Arts Center) and quickly established himself with his strong, high-pitched voice. He was often assigned songs with a strong mountain and forest style, or songs written on a pop music background.

With the desire to express his feelings through his musical works, The Anh boldly tried his hand at composing. Up to now, he has had dozens of songs that have been warmly received by the audience. The songs composed in response to the anti-epidemic movement were written on the electronic music background EDM, with rap arrangements, which are enjoyed by many audiences.

Recently, the song "Traffic Bell" written by The Anh won second prize in the "Contest to compose songs about traffic safety in Nghe An province" organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians Association.

Besides, many songs about love, homeland and people of Nghe An were tried by The Anh and received many spiritual gifts from the audience.

Among them, we must mention the song “Yen Hoa Que Toi” which he wrote for his beloved hometown. “The song was not written on a pop music background, nor did it use modern arrangements, but it was sung from the heart, so I received a lot of love from the public, especially the people of my hometown. After a short time, this song had nearly 200,000 listens on YouTube” - Lo The Anh shared.

The Anh also said that, as a native of Nghe An working in a professional artistic environment, the thing he worries about most is how to bring Vi Giam far and wide, how to make Nghe Tinh folk songs warmly welcomed by young audiences in the most novel way. Then, by chance, while he was leisurely singing Vi Nong Thuong, an idea popped up, "I will write about her Vi Giam".

And "the Vi Giam girl" by Lo The Anh is a young girl who sings Vi Giam, but it is also a simple, rustic, passionate Vi Giam song that is always contained in the heart of every child of Nghe An.

“With Tuong Tu Nang Vi Giam, I hope this will be the first step for a new creativity for Vi Giam, helping the public get closer, more passionate and more fresh with contemporary Vi Giam verses that breathe new life. I was extremely moved when watching the MV, a youth song but with Vi Giam elements, the song has both rap and ancient Vi Giam, creating a new and attractive catchiness” - People's Artist Hong Luu commented at the press conference to launch the MV.
