A brawl over debt collection resulted in one death.
During the debt collection process, a conflict arose, and the suspect immediately called about 10 other people who arrived armed with weapons. A brawl ensued, resulting in one death.
On the afternoon of April 28, the Thanh Xuan District Police in Hanoi announced that they have initiated a criminal case, charged and detained Nguyen Viet Tinh (born in 1992), Nguyen Viet Tien (born in 1993), both residing in Xuan Truong District, Nam Dinh Province, and Nguyen Duc Trong (born in 2000), residing in Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi, on charges of "Murder"; and Pham Van Doan (born in 1996), residing in Xuan Truong District, Nam Dinh Province, on charges of "Disrupting public order".

According to police documents, at approximately 9:30 PM on April 18th, Pham Van Doan (born in 1996), originally from Nam Dinh and currently residing in Khuong Dinh ward (Thanh Xuan district), was having dinner with some friends at home when Nguyen Duc Tan (born in 1995), also from Nam Dinh, and another individual appeared and demanded that Doan repay 10 million VND, a loan he had taken from a person named Vinh.
A conflict arose during the debt collection process, and Tan immediately called about 10 people armed with weapons to the scene. A brawl ensued, resulting in serious injuries to Mr. D.VT (born in 1993), from Xuan Truong district (Nam Dinh province), a friend of the homeowner Pham Van Doan. He later died at the hospital.
During the investigation, the Thanh Xuan District Police, in coordination with the professional departments of the Hanoi City Police, determined that the above individuals were involved in the case of "Murder and disturbing public order"; they also identified and arrested Nguyen Viet Tinh, the suspect who used a weapon to attack the victim T.
Currently, Nguyen Duc Tan and related individuals are on the run. The police are urging them to surrender to receive leniency under the law.
