According to Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan commune (Thanh Chuong district), a tornado swept through the area on the night of September 13th, causing significant damage.
Accordingly, at around 8 PM on September 13th, a tornado swept through Thanh Xuan commune, damaging the roofs of approximately 30 houses and injuring one person, Mr. Tran Van Thanh from Xuan Nam hamlet. More than 100 meters of the fence of Thanh Xuan Secondary School collapsed; dozens of kiosks in Dang Market had their roofs completely blown off.
