Tornado in Ky Son causes dozens of houses to have their roofs blown off
(Baonghean.vn) - A tornado lasting more than 20 minutes in a highland village in Ky Son district caused dozens of houses to have their roofs blown off.

According to information from the Pha Danh commune government (Ky Son district), at around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon (March 31), a tornado occurred in Pieng Pho village of this commune.
The tornado lasted about 20 minutes, causing more than 10 houses to have their roofs blown off and trees to fall down.

“We were sitting in our house when the strong wind came. Seeing the roof and tiles flying everywhere, everyone was very scared and sought shelter. This is the first tornado to cause such damage since the beginning of the year,” said Ms. Luong Thi May, a resident of Pieng Pho village.
