Tornadoes in Ky Son ripped off the roofs of dozens of houses.
(Baonghean.vn) - A tornado lasting more than 20 minutes in a remote village in Ky Son district has caused dozens of houses to have their roofs blown off.

According to information from the Pha Danh commune authorities (Ky Son district), at approximately 2 PM this afternoon (March 31st), a tornado struck the Pieng Pho village in the commune.
The tornado, which lasted about 20 minutes, ripped the roofs off more than 10 houses and left trees scattered everywhere.

“We were sitting inside when a strong wind came. Seeing the corrugated iron roofs and tiles flying everywhere, everyone was very scared and looked for shelter. This is the first tornado this year that has caused this much damage,” said Ms. Luong Thi May, a resident of Pieng Pho village.

Immediately after the tornado, authorities and residents focused on repairing the damage.
