Taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, K'Bỏi broke into the house and stole 5.4 taels of gold and some cash. He then buried the stolen gold in his coffee garden.
On March 26, the Bao Loc City Police (Lam Dong province) were taking statements from K'Boi (born in 1981, residing in Loc An commune, Bao Lam district) to clarify his involvement in property theft.
Earlier, on the evening of March 21st, the Loc Phat Ward Police in Bao Loc City received a report from Mr. VQL (Nguyen Van Cu Street, Bao Loc City) about a burglary at his house where valuable assets, including gold and cash, were stolen.

The Bảo Lộc City Police leadership directed the Criminal Investigation Team to coordinate with the Lộc Phát Ward Police to urgently investigate and clarify the matter. Using professional methods, the police screened and summoned K'Bỏi for questioning. Initially, the suspect vehemently denied the crime, refusing to admit to committing the theft. Only when the police presented irrefutable evidence did K'Bỏi finally admit to breaking into Mr. L's house to steal property.
K'Bỏi confessed that at around 4 PM on March 21st, noticing that no one was home at Mr. L's house, he pried open a window and broke into the bedroom, stealing 5.4 taels of gold and 38.6 million VND. He hid the stolen items in his house, but buried the gold in a hole in the coffee garden.

On the afternoon of March 25th, the Bao Loc City Police, in coordination with the People's Procuracy of the same level, searched K'Boi's residence in B'Do village, Loc An commune, Bao Lam district, and confiscated all the stolen property to return it to the victim.
