(Baonghean.vn) Taking advantage of his neighbor's negligence, Hoang Tuan Anh broke into the house and stole two gold bars and 30 million VND. His criminal act was quickly investigated and handled by the Ky Son District Police.

According to sources from the Ky Son District Police, at 12:00 PM on May 7, 2017, the agency received a report from Ms. Bui Thi Lien, residing in Block 5, Muong Xen Town, stating that her entire family returned home after helping out at a wedding and were shocked to find the back door broken open. Upon checking their belongings, they discovered the safe had been sawed open and the thieves had stolen two gold bars and 30 million VND in cash.

Upon receiving the report, the Ky Son District Police immediately cordoned off the area and searched for the suspect. Following the trail, the police officers identified the suspect as Hoang Tuan Anh (born in 1997), who shared the same address as the victim's family, and summoned him for questioning. During the interrogation, Hoang Tuan Anh confessed to the theft.

Accordingly, at approximately 8:30 AM on May 7th, knowing that Ms. Lien's family was away, Anh broke through the back door of the house and used a steel cutter to break open the safe and steal the aforementioned assets.

Continuing the interrogation, Anh confessed that previously (on April 18, 2017) he had also broken into the private residence of Ms. Ho Thi Giang (also in Block 5, Muong Xen Town) and stolen two mobile phones worth 22 million VND.

The Ky Son District Police are currently finalizing the case file to prosecute Hoang Tuan Anh's actions in accordance with the law.
