The confession of the suspect who shot and killed his love rival.

On the morning of May 22nd, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dak Lak Provincial Police transferred Hoang Ngoc Nhan (born in 1985, residing in Cu H'lam village, Ea Pok town, Cu M'gar district) to the headquarters for further investigation into the crime of "Killing"

Earlier, at around 4:00 AM on May 21st, some residents discovered a deceased body lying by the roadside in Hamlet 8, Ea Kpam Commune, Cu M'gar District, and reported it to the police.

Upon receiving the report, the Cư M'gar District Police, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Forensic Science Department of the Dak Lak Provincial Police, conducted a scene investigation and autopsy to investigate the case.

Upon verification, the victim was identified as Mr. NH (born in 1985, residing in Quang Phu town, Cu M'gar district). Mr. H. was determined to have died from gunshot wounds.

Recognizing this as a particularly serious murder case, the Cư M'gar District Police, in coordination with relevant units, conducted a review of suspected individuals and gathered information about the victim. Based on clues provided by residents and the victim's relatives, the suspected perpetrator in the case was identified as Hoàng Ngọc Nhân.

However, at this time, Hoang Ngoc Nhan was not present at his residence. In addition to deploying forces to search for him, a task force also contacted Nhan's family to persuade him to surrender in order to receive leniency from the law. At approximately 10:15 AM on the same day, Hoang Ngoc Nhan brought the gun used in the crime along with 5 bullets to the police station to surrender.

According to Nhân's testimony, in early 2022, he discovered that his wife, Ms. Đ.TL, and Mr. NH were having an affair. Afterward, Nhân's wife moved out and lived separately. During this time, Ms. L. and Mr. NH continued to see each other, so Nhân met with Mr. NH to question him.

However, each time they met, NH issued a challenge. Around October 2022, Nhan went online to buy a homemade gun and 6 bullets for 3 million VND with the intention of killing his rival.

Around 8 PM on May 20th, after seeing NH enter his wife's rented room, Nhân went home to get a gun. When he returned to the rented room, NH was no longer there, so Nhân went to a nearby fishing pond. Since his fishing companions had all left, Nhân got on his motorbike and headed home. On the way home, Nhân spotted NH standing by the roadside, so he turned his motorbike around and shot NH dead.

After committing the crime, Nhân took the gun to a field hut to hide it and then went to sleep. After being persuaded by the police and his relatives to surrender, Nhân turned himself in to the police.
