What is the current fine for violating the no-left-turn rule for cars?

Reply:Point k, Clause 4, Article 6 of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulates the following violation regarding the prohibition of left turns for automobiles:

Article 6. Penalties and deduction of points from the driver's license of drivers of automobiles, four-wheeled motor vehicles for passenger transport, four-wheeled motor vehicles for cargo transport, and similar types of vehicles who violate road traffic regulations.

1. A fine of VND 400,000 to VND 600,000 shall be imposed on drivers who commit any of the following violations:

a) Failure to comply with traffic signs and road markings, except for violations specified in points a, c, d, and e of clause 2; points a, d, e, n, and o of clause 3; points a, b, e, i, k, and l of clause 4; points a, b, c, d, e, i, and k of clause 5; point a of clause 6; clause 7; points b and d of clause 9; point a of clause 10; and point e of clause 11 of this Article;

b) When entering or leaving a parking space, failing to signal other drivers to be aware of the situation;

4. A fine of VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers who commit any of the following violations:

k) Making a U-turn in an area marked with a sign prohibiting U-turns for the type of vehicle being driven;Driving a vehicle and making a left turn at a location with a traffic sign indicating that left turns are prohibited for the type of vehicle being driven.; driving a vehicle and turning right at a location with a traffic sign indicating that right turns are prohibited for the type of vehicle being driven;

l) Failing to maintain a safe distance resulting in a collision with the vehicle in front, or failing to maintain the distance as prescribed by the "Minimum distance between two vehicles" traffic sign, except for violations specified in point d, clause 5 of this Article.
