Special class in the resettlement area of the Dan Lai ethnic group
(Baonghean.vn) - In Thach Son village, Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong district (Nghe An), there is a special class with a total of 14 students, studying two programs, grade 1 and grade 2, taught by one teacher, called a "combined class". Teachers in charge of a combined class really work hard, the difficulties seem to be doubled...

In previous years, the Thach Son village school belonged to Thach Ngan 2 Primary School, Thach Ngan Commune (Con Cuong), with the responsibility of teaching children of the Dan Lai people who resettled here. This school year, Thach Ngan 1 Primary School and Thach Ngan 2 Primary School merged into Thach Ngan Primary School, and the Thach Son village school merged into Ke Da village school, about 5km from the village. However, to create favorable conditions for parents and students, the school decided to maintain a combined class in Thach Son village, including the first and second grade programs, taught by teacher Vi Thi Thuy. The education sector has made great strides, but in remote villages of Nghe An, the combined class model still exists, and teachers and students still face many difficulties in teaching and learning. Therefore, special attention is needed from the education sector and authorities at all levels. Photo: Cong Kien |
