Localized flooding has cut off Hung Nguyen.

(Baonghean.vn) - Following the heavy rain last night, the Phuc Dien spillway in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district, was deeply flooded; people and vehicles could not pass through.

Since early this morning, a large volume of water has flowed down from Mount Dai Hue, causing the Phuc Dien spillway to be flooded to a depth of 70-80 cm.

The Phuc Dien dam was submerged under more than 70cm of water, causing traffic disruption in Hung Yen commune.

Phuc Dien spillway is located at km 16 + 227, on the main road connecting Hung Yen South, Hung Yen North, and Hung Yen West. This spillway is managed by Construction and Management Company 487.

Currently, company representatives have stationed personnel and erected barricades on both sides of the road to prevent people and vehicles from passing through.

Deep floodwaters prevented people from crossing the flooded area in Hung Tay commune.

Water from Mount Dai Hue flowed down continuously, causing flooding.

Currently, floodwaters from Dai Hue mountain are still flowing strongly, causing flooding in Hung Yen commune. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Hung Nguyen district, in coordination with the 487 Construction and Management Joint Stock Company, are conducting inspections and implementing remedial measures to ensure the safe passage of people.
