The 215th Tank Brigade launches a high-intensity emulation campaign titled 'Rapid and Decisive Victory'.
On the morning of March 3rd, in Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district, the 215th Tank Brigade held a ceremony to launch its 2025 training campaign and initiated a high-intensity emulation campaign "Rapid - Decisive Victory" to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 135th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh.
Attending the ceremony were: Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; and Major General Do Dinh Thanh - Commander of the Armored Corps.
At the ceremony, Colonel Le Hai Dang – Commander of the 215th Tank Brigade – briefed the brigade's officers and soldiers on the training tasks for 2025. Accordingly, in 2025, the 215th Tank Brigade will focus on organizing training for personnel according to the basic training program of the General Staff; training in the proficient use of technical equipment in its inventory, mastering weapons and equipment; mastering tactics; excelling in tank and armored vehicle tactics and techniques; focusing on training in mobility, movement, practical training, night training, and anti-UAV training... concentrating on building a brigade that is excellent in training, strictly disciplined, highly combat-ready, and comprehensively strong – a "Model and Exemplary" brigade.
Colonel Kieu Trong Tien - Political Commissar215th Tank BrigadeThe "Rapid and Decisive Victory" emulation campaign and the 2025 training emulation movement have been launched with the theme "Strong determination, excellent training, high combat readiness, strict discipline, absolute safety". The "Rapid and Decisive Victory" emulation campaign will take place from March 3rd to May 19th, 2025. The 2025 training emulation movement will take place from March 3rd to December 15th, 2025.
The overarching goal of this emulation campaign and movement is to build a team of officers and soldiers in the Brigade with unwavering political resolve, absolute trust in the Party's leadership, and dedication to the country's revolutionary cause; possessing clean and healthy character and lifestyles, strictly adhering to laws and discipline; maintaining internal unity and strong military-civilian solidarity; overcoming difficulties and successfully completing all assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in training in 2024. He also requested the 215th Tank Brigade to continue implementing the 2025 training plan correctly. This includes focusing on strengthening the leadership and guidance of the Party committee and commanders; emphasizing innovation; improving training quality; prioritizing political and ideological education; maintaining strict discipline; and ensuring high combat readiness.
On this occasion, authorized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Armored Corps, the leaders presented the Government's Emulation Flag; the title of "Exemplary and Outstanding" comprehensively strong unit; and the "Excellent Training Unit" flag for 2024 from the Ministry of National Defense to the 215th Tank Brigade.
