(Baonghean.vn)- Currently, there is heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Nghe An province. Floodwaters are rising, many villages are cut off, and many crops and houses have been swept away. There have been no casualties so far.

In Tuong Duong district,Heavy rain has been falling since last night, and as of now, there are no specific statistics on the damage. In Tam Hop commune alone, one house had its roof blown off, one hectare of rice fields was flooded, and the road from the district center to the commune was cut off due to rising water levels.

In addition, one house in Cha Lo 1 village, Mai Son commune, collapsed.

Mr. Lo Kham Kha, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Tuong Duong district, said: "Currently, we are organizing on-duty shifts and developing response plans in case of any unforeseen circumstances."

In Anh Son,According to initial information provided by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of the district, Typhoon No. 2 has severely affected the locality, but the full extent of the damage has not yet been assessed. According to a report from Tao Son commune, Typhoon No. 2 ripped off the roof of the commune's health station and collapsed the roof of the primary school. In addition, many old trees were broken and scattered, causing significant damage to crops.

In Con Cuong districtAccording to information from Thach Ngan commune, three houses in Thanh Binh and Thach Tien villages were severely damaged by fallen trees.

The road from Yen Khe to Mon Son and Luc Da has many fallen trees obstructing traffic. Water from the mountains is flooding people's homes, and the authorities are organizing and directing the clearing of fallen trees to alleviate the congestion.
