Floods after storms cut off many villages in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn)- Currently, there is heavy rain in the mountainous area of Nghe An. Floodwaters are rising, many villages are isolated, and floodwaters have swept away many crops and houses. There have been no human casualties.
In Tuong Duong district,There has been heavy rain since last night, and there are no specific damage statistics yet. In Tam Hop commune alone, 1 house had its roof blown off, 1 hectare of rice was flooded, and the road from the district center to the commune was cut off due to high water levels.
In addition, 01 house in Cha Lo 1 village, Mai Son commune collapsed.

Mr. Lo Kham Kha - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tuong Duong district said: "Currently, we are organizing a shift to come up with a rescue plan in case of any unexpected events."
At Anh Son,According to initial information from Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang - Head of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, storm No. 2 has had a serious impact on the locality, but the total damage has not yet been fully estimated. According to the report of Tao Son commune, storm No. 2 has blown off the roof of the commune health station and collapsed the roof of the primary school. In addition, many old trees were broken and fell, causing great damage to crops.

In Con Cuong districtAccording to information from Thach Ngan commune, in Thanh Binh and Thach Tien villages, 3 houses were severely damaged by fallen trees.

The Yen Khe to Mon Son and Luc Da route has many fallen trees, causing traffic congestion. Water from the mountain is flowing into people's houses, the authorities are organizing and directing the removal of fallen trees to clear the congestion.
