Fraudulent land sales: Buying land ownership certificates online and handing them over to customers.

Previously, the Thanh Chuong District Police received a report from Mr. HBN, residing in Thanh An commune, Thanh Chuong district, regarding Nguyen Viet Quang (born in 1975), residing in Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district, using a forged land use right certificate to sell land to Mr. N.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Thanh Chuong District Police quickly conducted an investigation and summoned Nguyen Viet Quang to the district police station for questioning.

At the police station, during questioning, Quang confessed: Around April 2022, Quang sold a plot of land in Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district, to Mr. N. for 540 million VND. After Mr. N. paid a deposit of 195 million VND, because he had not yet obtained a land use right certificate to give to Mr. N., Quang ordered a fake land use right certificate on Facebook under the names of Mr. N. and Mrs. S. (Mr. N.'s wife). After receiving the fake land use right certificate, Quang gave it to Mr. N. and received an additional 339 million VND.

When Mr. N. brought the land use right certificate to the One-Stop Service Department of the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee to apply for a loan, he discovered it was fake and reported it to the police.

Currently, the Thanh Chuong District Police haveprosecuteThe suspect Nguyen Viet Quang (born in 1975), residing in Ngoc Son commune, Thanh Chuong district, is charged with the crime of "Using forged documents of an agency or organization" and will be further investigated and processed according to the law.
