Scammers sell numerous "phantom" projects, defrauding people of approximately 50 billion VND.
The police agency announced that it is investigating a case of "fraudulent appropriation of property" that occurred at Vietnam Real Estate Investment and Services Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, General Director of Viet Real Estate Company, arbitrarily established residential projects and subdivided land plots with areas starting from 30 square meters.2up to 100m2In violation of legal regulations, they arbitrarily named the following projects: Loc Phat Garden Residential Area Project, Nhuan Duc Residential Area Project, Phuc Loc Tho Project, Xuan Thoi Thuong - Hoc Mon Project, Gia Lai Central Park Residential Area Project.
These "phantom" projects, after being established, used advertising companies to sell land plots to many people as residential land, employing forms such as "Preliminary Contracts for Transfer of Land Use Rights" or "Notarized Agreements," deceiving customers to gain illicit profits, initially appropriating approximately 50 billion VND from the victims.
