Fire breaks out at Trump Tower.
The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) deployed dozens of units and more than 120 firefighters to deal with a fire that broke out on the 50th floor of Trump Tower in New York City before 6 p.m. on April 7.
According to The Guardian, this tower was once the residence of Donald Trump before he was elected US president in 2016. His family now lives in the White House in Washington, D.C. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) has raised the fire severity level from alert level 2 to alert level 4.
"Federal Duty Office (FDNY) members are still on the scene of the Level 4 fire at 721 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. One citizen has been seriously injured," the FDNY announced on Twitter.
The FDNY later announced that "three firefighters were injured but their injuries were not life-threatening" and the fire was brought under control at 8 p.m. that same day.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has blocked off roads around Fifth Avenue.
"Thank you to the amazing firefighters at FDNY for putting out the fire in an apartment (in Trump Tower)," Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, wrote on Twitter.
Earlier in January, three people were slightly injured when a small fire broke out on the rooftop of the 58-story tower.
