The Military Command of Que Phong district mobilized officers, soldiers, and militia forces to coordinate with local authorities to help people repair their houses and clear fallen trees caused by Typhoon No. 3.
Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3, from September 6th, Que Phong district experienced rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. The prolonged rain and thunderstorms caused many houses to have their roofs blown off, and many trees were broken and fell onto houses and schools.
The Que Phong District Military Command quickly mobilized officers, soldiers, and militia forces along with mobile equipment to the scene to coordinate with local authorities in helping people repair houses and clear fallen trees.
By noon today, September 8th, the recovery efforts were completed, and the households whose roofs were blown off have resumed their normal lives.
Earlier, on the night of September 6th, a strong whirlwind struck Que Phong district, causing many trees to fall and damaging the roofs of 7 houses in the villages of Thong Thu and Tien Phong communes and Kim Son town.
