Tevez's salary is higher than Rooney and Pogba combined

The Argentine striker who just debuted at Shanghai Shenhua has an income that even the top stars of the Premier League find difficult to catch up with.

Carlos Tevez will earn around $754,000 a week at Shanghai Shenhua. This is the highest salary in world football.

The Chinese club have persuaded Tevez to leave his starting club Boca Juniors for a large sum. If the full two-year contract is taken into account, the 32-year-old will earn around $78.4 million.

On average, Tevez will earn $3,336,491 per month, or $39.2 million per year. More specifically, in his two years playing for Shanghai Shenhua, he will pocket $107,651 per day, or $4,484.6 per hour, $74.74 per minute, and $1.23 per second.

Compared to Premier League stars, the combined weekly wages that Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil demand at Arsenal is $306,000, plus the amount Harry Kane is earning at Tottenham ($122,530) to equal Tevez's income.

Tevez's weekly salary is enough to cover the three most creative players in the Premier League today, including Eden Hazard ($270,000 per week), David Silva ($245,000) and Kevin De Bruyne ($208,000).

The combined weekly wages of the two highest-paid players in the Premier League, Wayne Rooney ($319,000/week) and Paul Pogba ($355,000/week), are still $80,000 less than Tevez's perks at the Chinese club.

In Tevez's new home, Shanghai, the average income per capita is $288 per week. The Argentine striker earns nearly 262 times more than that.
