New car registrations in Nghe An hit record high
According to information from the Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, as of December 15, 2024, the whole province had 18,064 newly registered cars, an increase of nearly 3,000 cars compared to 2023.

Specifically, on average, Nghe An has about 100-110 newly registered cars every day, of which 50 cars are in Vinh city and 50-60 cars are in districts and towns. It is expected that from December 15 to the Lunar New Year, Nghe An will have about 2,000 new cars registered and the number of newly registered cars this year will reach a record of 20,000 cars.

With the above number of newly registered vehicles, Nghe An continues to rank 3rd in the country in terms of the number of newly registered cars (after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi).

Also related to newly registered vehicles, in 2024, Nghe An will have 68,904 more motorbikes and 15,286 newly registered bicycles and electric motorbikes. Accumulated to December 15, 2024, the whole province has 202,940 cars, 2,089,131 motorbikes and 152,090 electric vehicles and electric motorbikes.
