Luu Thien Huong serves as music director for "X-Factor" season 2.

Composer Luu Thien Huong will replace composer Phuong Uyen as the music director for the second season of "The X-Factor".

The first season of "X-Factor" in Vietnam has concluded with Giang Hong Ngoc winning the championship. The show will soon return to audiences to search for new solo singing talents and musical groups.

The second season of "The X Factor" will still divide contestants into four groups: male contestants aged 16 to 25, female contestants aged 16 to 25, male and female contestants aged 25 and above, and singing groups over 16. There is still no official information about the artists who will be filling the judging panel. The first season featured big names in Vietnamese music: Ho Ngoc Ha, Dam Vinh Hung, Ho Quynh Huong, and Duong Khac Linh. They all have a great influence and represent different musical styles.

Additionally, musician Luu Thien Huong will replace musician Phuong Uyen as the Music Director of "The X Factor" season 2. Besides being famous as a musician and having won numerous awards, Luu Thien Huong is also known as a judge in many music competitions such as: "Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Star", "The Perfect Couple", "Do Re Mi", "Vietnamese Star", and a member of the judging panel for the Vietnamese Song program... Notably, she previously served as Music Director for "The Voice Kids Vietnam" in seasons 2 and 3, and as a judge for "The Remix - Harmony of Light".

Currently, Luu Thien Huong is busy preparing for the preliminary auditions of the X Factor Vietnam in various regions as a judge. The female musician said: "X Factor Vietnam is a long-term platform for musical talents nationwide, especially a great opportunity for music groups. I am really looking forward to listening to and discovering outstanding musical personalities."

Luu Thien Huong also revealed that she will give the winner of "The X Factor 2016" a total of 10 songs from their debut CD right after the competition ends.

Currently, "The X Factor" is beginning its nationwide recruitment drive. The first preliminary round will take place from November 13th to 16th in Hanoi. Following that, the program will recruit in Da Nang (November 18th-19th), Can Tho (November 24th-25th), and finally Ho Chi Minh City (December 1st-2nd).
