Why does NATO want to freeze the conflict in Ukraine?
Russian foreign intelligence agencies believe that NATO wants to freeze the conflict in Ukraine in order to restore the strength of the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to RIA Novosti, the press office of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) stated on November 29 that NATO plans to freeze the conflict in Ukraine to restore combat capabilities and prepare for a response.
""Due to its inability to inflict strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield, NATO is increasingly inclined to freeze the conflict in Ukraine. The West sees implementing such a scenario as an opportunity to restore the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian army and thoroughly prepare Kyiv for a subsequent retaliatory offensive," the press release from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stated.
According to SVR, NATO has established training centers in Ukraine – which are expected to train at least 1 million mobilized troops.
Under the pretext of restoring the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, approximately 100,000 people will be brought into Ukraine under the guise of a peacekeeping force. In reality, this means controlling Ukraine.
The SVR stated that the territories supposedly under its control were demarcated as follows: the Black Sea coast under Romanian control, western Ukraine under Polish control, central and eastern Ukraine under German control, and northern regions including the capital under British control.
Western defense industry companies, including Germany's Rheinmetall group, will be required, in addition to investments, to send top experts and high-performance equipment to Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service believes that this move by NATO has clarified the answer to the question of what options Russia has for resolving the conflict.
