Voters can choose to vote in person or by mail before Election Day on November 3rd. For those who are unwilling or unable to vote in person, absentee ballots will be sent to them upon request.
Voters who choose to vote by mail must request a ballot by mail before October 23rd.
Early in-person voting will take place at multiple locations, with some areas, including the city of Alexandria in Virginia, planning to expand polling locations and extend hours to avoid large gatherings of voters, which could increase the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission.
