MU appoints coach Jose Mourinho
According to the latest information from Sky Sports, MU has appointed coach Jose Mourinho as head coach of the club.
According to Sky Sports, Mourinho will stay with the Old Trafford team for 3 seasons with a salary of 10 million pounds/season, double what his predecessor Louis van Gaal received. Meanwhile, according to Daily Mail, the salary of the "Special One" is 15 million pounds/season.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach signed a contract with MU at a hotel in London at around 5:00 pm local time (23:00 Vietnam time). At around 5:20 pm, he returned home with a stack of manuscripts and a bottle of red wine. In his hand, Mourinho had a black and red tie, symbolizing the traditional colors of the new team.
Mourinho and his agent Jorge Mendes have spent several days working with MU's CEO, Ed Woodward. The two sides have agreed on the biggest issue related to the Portuguese strategist's image rights when he was leading Chelsea.

An interesting detail is that on this day 12 years ago (2004), Mourinho and Porto won the Champions League. During that journey, he and his students at Porto defeated MU in the round of 16.
