MU breaks record, spends £100 million to sign English "prodigy"
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are planning to spend £100 million to sign 18-year-old English winger Jadon Sancho.
Manchester United are experiencing a strong resurgence under Ole Solskjaer, but if they want to become a real title challenger in the new season, they need to strengthen their squad with new signings. Given their attacking style of play, Solskjaer naturally wants to bring in quality strikers.

Although not yet officially appointed by MU, Solskjaer is almost certain to take the position by the end of the season. Therefore, the 45-year-old Norwegian manager is allowed to be involved in the club's transfer matters. According to the Daily Mail, Solsa is targeting Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who is being called a "football prodigy" in England.
Despite being only 18 years old, Sancho is already a key player in Dortmund's attack. This season, he has scored 8 goals and provided 10 assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances. Sancho's brilliant form has helped the Signal Iduna Park team consistently maintain their top position in the league standings.
Reportedly, Dortmund are willing to sell Sancho this summer, but the price will be no less than £100 million. If MU accept that price, they will break the club's transfer record, currently held by Paul Pogba (£89 million).
Furthermore, if MU successfully completes this deal, Sancho will also become the first English player to reach the £100 million transfer fee mark. However, the "Red Devils" will not find it easy to acquire Sancho because Juventus is also very interested in the Dortmund winger.
If Sancho agrees to move to Old Trafford, Sanchez's future will naturally be threatened. The Chilean star is currently in poor form and is not favored by manager Solskjaer.
