According to the Daily Mail, MU has planned to spend 100 million pounds to recruit 18-year-old English winger Jadon Sancho.

MU are reviving strongly under Ole Solskjaer but if they want to become real title challengers for the new season, they need to strengthen their players. With an attacking style of play, Solsa of course wants to bring in quality strikers.

Although not yet officially appointed by MU, Solskjaer is almost certain to have this position at the end of the season. Therefore, the 45-year-old Norwegian coach is allowed to get involved in the club's transfer issues. According to the Daily Mail, Solsa is targeting Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, who is being called the "child prodigy" of English football.

At just 18 years old, Sancho is a mainstay in Dortmund's attack. This season, he has 8 goals and 10 assists after 24 Bundesliga appearances. Sancho's brilliant form has helped the Signal Iduna Park team maintain their position at the top of the rankings.

Dortmund are reportedly willing to sell Sancho in the summer but for no less than £100m. If MU accepts the price, they will break the club's transfer record, the most expensive contract currently belongs to Paul Pogba (£89m).

In addition, if MU successfully completes this deal, Sancho will also become the first English player to reach the 100 million pound transfer fee mark. However, the "Red Devils" will not easily have Sancho because Juventus is also very interested in the Dortmund winger.

If Sancho agrees to move to Old Trafford, Sanchez's future will of course be in jeopardy. The Chilean star is currently in poor form and is not in the favour of coach Solskjaer.
