Madonna upset with biopic project about herself
After Universal Pictures released a biographical film project about her, "Queen of Pop" Madonna angrily spoke out in protest.
Recently, Universal Picture studio has publicly produced the biographical film Blond Ambition, revolving around the life of famous singer Madonna.
The film focuses on the early years of her career in New York, USA. Blond Ambition is also the name of the singer's memorable tour in 1990.
Immediately after that, the film's "main character", Madonna, publicly spoke out against this project. Posting a status on Instagram, the Material Girl singer expressed her indignation: "No one can know what I know better than me. That's why only I can tell my life story."

Madonna also stressed that she never agreed to produce this autobiographical film. Blond Ambition is directed by Michael De Luca, the man behind the success of The Social Network and two parts of Fifty Shades of Grey.
In a second post, Madonna shared a picture of a page from the script and criticized the screenwriter for writing it incorrectly. According to the script, which depicts a conversation between the pop star and Dick Clark, Elyse wrote that Madonna was born in Detroit and famously dropped out of high school.
Meanwhile, according to Madonna, the truth is completely opposite. "I was born in Bay City, Michigan. Moreover, I did not drop out of high school and even became a student at the University of Michigan," said the 58-year-old singer.

Madonna was one of the most successful music stars of the 1990s and 2000s. |
The "Queen of Pop" also expressed disappointment, saying: "Why does Universal Studios want to make a biopic about me based on a script full of lies and fabrications?"
The film's script was written by a little-known Los Angeles screenwriter, Elyse Hollander. The film does not reflect Madonna's singing career but mainly explores the difficult aspects of her life in the early years of her career.
The period after 1978 when she had to leave her hometown Michigan for New York to pursue music is considered the most intense time of the female singer. Madonna has also shared this painful memory many times with the media, including the story of her rape.

To this day, Madonna is still considered the queen of pop music in the world music industry. |
According to the producer of Universal Pictures, Blond Ambition is a slow-motion tape about Madonna's difficult time in life and her failures in love and career nearly 20 years ago.
Although many songs and books have been written about her, after decades of standing firmly in the world music scene, Madonna still refuses to release autobiographical works.
Universal has yet to respond to the complaints from the "owner". In addition, the representative of screenwriter Elyse Hollander also refused to comment on this.
