On August 6th, Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy celebrated her 37th birthday in a private, simple yet meaningful setting. Unlike her usual glamorous image, the beauty queen opted for a minimalist and elegant style in her birthday photoshoot, still standing out thanks to her captivating aura.
Instead of a lavish party, Mai Phuong Thuy celebrated her birthday with a private evening surrounded by family and close friends. "With each passing year, I realize that health is the most important thing. When you're healthy, you have enough energy to live positively, learn new things, and work on many upcoming projects with your colleagues," she shared.
Despite withdrawing from showbiz for a while, Mai Phuong Thuy still maintains her unique appeal thanks to her modern beauty, intelligent demeanor, and kind lifestyle. Over the past year, she has been largely absent from the media, dedicating most of her time to investments and quiet charitable activities. The 8X beauty revealed that she is currently working on several personal projects related to education, art, and community development, which she plans to launch in 2026.

"Thanks to that title, I have had the chance to enter worlds that, if I were just an ordinary girl, I probably would never have reached," the beauty queen expressed.
However, after nearly two decades, she chose to set aside her title to explore life from new perspectives, free from the constraints of any particular mold. Nevertheless, according to Mai Phương Thúy, putting aside the title wasn't about forgetting, but about starting new journeys. "Nineteen years have passed, and I'm no longer the 18-year-old girl standing on that stage. But I still cherish gratitude and love for everything that youth brought me," Mai Phương Thúy confided.
