The wedding procession was identified as taking place in Hamlet 1, Nghia Binh Commune, Tan Ky District (Nghe An Province). The groom in the wedding procession is Tran Anh Chung (born in 1995, residing in Hamlet 1, Nghia Binh Commune), and the bride is Tang Thi Hao, residing in the same hamlet.

According to the groom, Chung, the idea of using a tractor to transport the bride was conceived just one day before the wedding ceremony on the afternoon of March 9th. The reason stemmed from the rainy weather, which had turned the road leading to his house into a muddy mess, making it difficult for people to pass through.

To ensure the wedding procession was a success, Mr. Chung enlisted the help of his aunt, Thuy, a tractor driver, to directly drive the vehicle. The "wedding car" was decorated with balloons and flowers from the garden. In addition, to transport all the relatives and friends, Mr. Chung had to rent and borrow five more tractors.
According to Mr. Chung, the distance from the bride's house to the groom's house is about 3km, mostly unpaved road.
