Man Utd reach agreement with "Ronaldo's successor"
Man Utd are reportedly close to reaching an agreement to sign Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP for a fee of £50 million.

Manager Ruben Amorim has given the green light for the deal, paving the way for Queda to join Old Trafford.
Geovany Quenda is a promising young talent in Portuguese football. Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva even suggested that Quenda could be his replacement in the national team.
Man Utd have been in contact with Quenda since manager Ruben Amorim arrived at Old Trafford. MU are reportedly close to reaching a "verbal agreement" on personal terms with the player.
Coach Ruben Amorim made no secret of his admiration for Quenda, calling him "a very talented kid." He also emphasized Quenda's focus and determination.
Last October, Quenda became the youngest player to score for Sporting, surpassing even Cristiano Ronaldo. Quenda also surpassed another milestone held by Ronaldo by becoming the youngest player in Sporting's history to feature in the Lisbon derby.
Quenda was called up to the Portuguese national team by coach Roberto Martinez for the Nations League matches. He then made his debut for the Portuguese U-21 team.
