Man Utd pay full compensation to Mourinho

Mourinho was sacked by Man Utd on December 18 after two and a half years in the hot seat at Old Trafford. Although unemployed, Mourinho was compensated with the full $19 million for the remainder of his contract. Man Utd paid the former Portuguese coach promptly and fairly.

Mourinho has returned to London to reunite with his family. He has also been spotted at a number of matches in his native Portugal. However, the famous coach has not revealed his future plans.

Some sources say Mourinho could reunite with Real Madrid after this season based on his close relationship with President Florentino Perez. In addition, rumors also link Mourinho to return to Portugal to lead Benfica.
