(Baonghean.vn) - On January 20th, Baonghean Newspaper collaborated with the Mipec - Trang An Project Management Board to present Tet gifts to 35 Dan Lai ethnic minority households in Ba Ha village, Thach Ngan commune (Con Cuong district). The gifts, totaling 50 million VND, added to the joy of the villagers as they welcomed the Year of the Dragon.
In 2009, the Dan Lai ethnic minority households in the core area of Pu Mat National Park, Mon Son commune, relocated to Ba Ha village. Upon moving to their new home, they faced numerous difficulties; all 35 households, comprising nearly 200 people, were classified as extremely poor. For many years, despite the attention of local authorities and their efforts in production, the lives of the people in Ba Ha village remained impoverished and difficult due to a lack of arable land and insufficient water for daily life.
