Better late than never

Goalkeeper Nguyen Manh was chosen by coach Quang Truong to be the captain of the Nghe An team from the 2016 season. According to the former head coach of SLNA, in addition to his good skills, Nguyen Manh is also a very exemplary player in daily life and has prestige with his teammates. In that context, the coaching board did not fully understand the player's feelings, this choice was more of a safe solution for Quang Truong than finding a true leader for the team.

However, Olaha is just a foreign player with a tall but not big body, his playing style does not tend to use a lot of pressing, pressing, sweeping, so it is easy for the opposing defenders to block. Not to mention, Olaha is quite picky about the ball, SLNA's midfield without a creative "setter" often throws the ball up, leaving the foreign players to deal with it, so there are not many good situations. Not to mention, because of impatience when playing for a long time without scoring a goal, Olaha is in a state of always "pursing his lips" to kick the ball, the ability to hit the target is even lower.

Obviously, SLNA's coaching staff needs to do both, do a good job of psychological work for Olaha, instruct the midfielders to pass the ball early in the right rhythm of this player's movements so that they can control the ball more easily. Besides, it is time to give Tuan Tai more opportunities to play and leave Olaha on the bench to create opportunities for the young foreign player to sit and watch and analyze the situations on the field.
