Man impersonates provincial leader's assistant to swindle over 2 billion VND.
Authorities have just decided to initiate a criminal case, indict and temporarily detain three individuals for investigation into the crimes of "Fraudulent appropriation of property" and "Forgery of documents of agencies and organizations".
The three suspects are: To Van Gian (born in 1973), residing in Nghia Duc ward, Gia Nghia city (Dak Nong); Nguyen A (born in 1991), residing in Phu Lam ward, Tuy Hoa city (Phu Yen); and Le Thuong (born in 1992), residing in Phuoc Thang commune, Tuy Phuoc district (Binh Dinh).

Initial investigations indicate that these individuals havefakeOfficials and assistants working for the leaders of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee subsequently forged documents and records to implement a pig farming project.
From December 2021 to August 2022, three individuals defrauded Mr. Pham Minh Tam, Director of Viet Can Company, based in Binh Phuoc province, of nearly 2.2 billion VND.
