Specifically, a representative from Vietlott stated that over the past week, the company has received reports from its branches in Hanoi and Can Tho regarding the appearance of individuals impersonating company employees.
Specifically, an individual claiming to be the "National Sales Manager of Vietlott" under the self-proclaimed name Phan Van Truong sent messages inviting individuals to purchase application forms to become agents or sales points for 2 million VND per set of forms.
Confirming that this information is fake, a representative from Vietlott advised: All information related to Vietlott, including information on the selection of agents and sales points in 2017, is publicly available on Vietlott's official website: www.vietlott.vn and widely announced through mass media.
"Until there is an official announcement from the company, individuals and organizations wishing to become agents or sales points should not pay any money to individuals claiming to be Vietlott or its branches," a Vietlott representative said.
Vietlott currently operates in 12 provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, An Giang, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Da Nang, Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh. According to plan, in 2017, Vietlott will expand its business operations as approved by the Ministry of Finance, aiming for nationwide coverage.
