Marcus Rashford even set a 24-hour deadline for the La Liga team to make a decision on signing him.
According to Spanish media reports, the Manchester United striker is reportedly looking for a new challenge after not getting regular playing time under manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford hasn't played since December 12th and appears to be losing his place in Manchester United's starting lineup. Interest from several major European clubs suggests Rashford is looking for new opportunities. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick, who once wanted to sign Rashford when he was at Bayern, is reportedly keen to bring him in to strengthen his attack, especially given the busy fixture schedule.
Although manager Flick wants Rashford, there is internal division within the Barcelona board regarding the suitability of the deal. Currently, Barca are only willing to loan the player, while Rashford is demanding a final decision by today (January 15th). Rashford's future at Manchester United is becoming uncertain, as manager Amorim has also refused to comment on his future. Amorim said that Rashford needs to work hard to regain his place. The fact that Rashford wants an answer from Barca so quickly only complicates the situation and shows that his desire to leave Manchester United is becoming clearer.
