The White House has its own secret codes to signal to the Secret Service whenever the President wants private time with his wife.

Becoming President of the United States is no easy feat for anyone, as every gesture and action is closely scrutinized. Typically, Secret Service agents are stationed to constantly protect the President and First Lady. In such circumstances, the President and First Lady may find it somewhat inconvenient, even uncomfortable, to have some private time together.

According to Mirror, there are several special codes used at the White House to facilitate communication between Secret Service agents without having to explicitly state the event or specific location.

During Obama's eight years in office, the President was nicknamed "Renegade," while former First Lady Michelle was known as "Renaissance." Whenever Obama and his wife wanted "private time," they would use the phrase "the Bosnia issue."

The conversation between the American secret agents would then go something like this: "Renaissance doesn't want to be disturbed. She and Renegade are discussing Bosnian issues."

If President-elect Donald Trump retains the coded message, the Bosnia issue will continue to be brought up at the White House if he wants private time with his wife, Melania. However, it is likely that Trump will change this particular phrase.
