The Fatherland Front at all levels continues to innovate, be creative, and make breakthroughs in its activities.

Many outstanding results

Evaluating the results of the Fatherland Front's work in 2025, the conference affirmed: In the past year, the Fatherland Front at the provincial and grassroots levels focused on reorganizing and streamlining the Fatherland Front's agencies and political-social organizations, as well as mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State, in conjunction with and implementing the two-tiered government; and successfully organized the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political-social organizations at the provincial and commune levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Alongside this, the Front's activities and movements have been maintained and implemented with many innovations, creative breakthroughs; strengthening coordination with political and social organizations, promoting the role of uniting and gathering the people, contributing to consolidating social consensus and political stability, promoting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a strong Party and government.

With a tradition of solidarity, mutual support, and assistance within the community, social welfare work in the province continued to be a highlight in 2025. The province completed the program to eliminate dilapidated and temporary housing, with a total of 20,802 houses newly built and renovated; and was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the Party and the State.

The "Lam River Solidarity - Spring 2025" program has raised over 150 billion VND; in disaster relief efforts, the Fatherland Front system has called for and received a total of 549.2 billion VND in resources, promptly supporting people in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

In 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will continue to effectively perform its functions and tasks in promoting democracy, improving the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism, and actively participating in Party building. The Fatherland Front at all levels organized 1,100 supervision activities; and conducted criticism on more than 400 important draft documents, notably the process of gathering feedback on the documents for the 14th National Party Congress.

Digital transformation in the work of the Fatherland Front has received attention, including the deployment of an operational management system to 100% of Fatherland Front officials at all levels; and the operation of the "Nghe An Digital Fatherland Front" Mini App, which helps to enhance direct interaction with the people.

Continue to ponder and create breakthroughs in operations.

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels in 2025, which were recognized by the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council as having excellently fulfilled their duties, affirming their role and position in the political system and social life.

Emphasizing that 2026 is the year the province will implement many major, rapid, and strong programs and tasks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province clearly define its role as a companion, a solid "rear guard," and a reliable "bridge" between the Party committee, the government, and the people. It should effectively carry out propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of the people, listen to their opinions, and propose solutions to relevant levels, contributing to reducing complaints, limiting the emergence of "hot spots," and creating conditions for the government to focus on managing socio-economic development, doing a good job in social welfare, and ensuring national defense and security.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee stated that the theme of the 16th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, for the term 2025-2030, is: "Unity, Democracy, Innovation, Development." Therefore, in its activities, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to continue to strive for innovation, creativity, and breakthroughs to promote the overall development of the province.

The focus is on concretizing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, along with the 7 key resolutions of the Politburo. Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh requested that each agency, unit, and member organization register one breakthrough in professional expertise and one breakthrough in digital transformation.

Innovate and strengthen propaganda work, unite the entire nation, and build sustainable communities; innovate and improve the quality of the "National Unity Day"; widely implement the model of "Self-governing, united, prosperous, and happy residential areas" to create a healthy cultural and moral environment at the grassroots level.

Promote and launch emulation movements and campaigns, including the movement to jointly support the construction and renovation of schools for border communes; land clearance and resettlement for 12 key projects of the province and in each locality; social security programs and sustainable poverty reduction. Research and coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to develop a digital social security map, integrating complete data on poor households, vulnerable groups, addresses, phone numbers, etc., to ensure unified management, quick and effective support, and support that is appropriate to the target group.

Continue to improve the quality of social supervision and criticism; streamline the organizational structure, while simultaneously training and developing the quality of Front cadres to meet the requirements of tasks in the digital age.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Minh Sinh also emphasized several tasks that need to be focused on immediately. These include close coordination in organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, ensuring democracy, legality, and clearly demonstrating the mediating and coordinating role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the same time, focus on successfully implementing the "Lam River Solidarity - Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026" Program and the "Spring Colors of the Highlands, Warmth of the People's Love" Program, aiming to ensure a warm and happy Tet holiday for the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and ethnic minority communities in border areas.

Within the framework of the conference program, in response to the Provincial Party Secretary's appeal to support and assist the poor, those in difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people in celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province launched a campaign, calling for contributions from members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, 16th term, 2025-2030, and delegates attending the conference, raising nearly 38 million VND.
