"The Colors of the Village": A Cultural Glimpse of Western Nghe An Province
From April 2026, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television will broadcast a new television program called "Colors of the Village" - a journey to explore the cultural life of ethnic minority communities in western Nghe An.
The "Colors of the Homeland" program adopts a relatable approach: delving into everyday life to identify existing cultural values. There, each way of life carries its own way of preservation; each custom is a layer of memory; and each person is a part of the identity.

From seemingly familiar things, the program offers a deeper insight into culture, not something distant, but something present in the way people live, work, and pass on their knowledge through generations.
Leveraging their geographical advantage and deep understanding of local culture, the production team will explore many vivid aspects of the lives of ethnic minorities in western Nghe An province, from the rhythm of life in the fields to customs, traditions, and community festivals… All will be presented through familiar and emotionally rich visual language while maintaining authenticity, allowing viewers to recognize the culture preserved naturally in daily life.

The highlight of the program is its storytelling through people. The characters who appear not only recount stories, but they themselves embody cultural identity – from the elders preserving traditions to the younger generation carrying on those traditions.
With the message "The Colors of the Homeland - Looking at Life, Recognizing Identity," the program aims to spread and extend the cultural values of the people in the western region of Nghe An province.

The program is 10 minutes long and airs at 9:20 PM on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month on NTV.
The first episode of the program "Colors of the Village: Village Festival" will air on NTV at 9:20 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
We invite you to watch.
