Latest Driver's License Template 2025

ReplyThe Minister of Public Security has just issued Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA dated February 28, 2025, regulating the examination and issuance of driver's licenses; and the issuance and use of international driver's licenses. This includes regulations on the latest 2025 driver's license mẫu and the latest 2025 driver's license image.

Based on Section 1, Appendix X of Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA stipulating the latest 2025 driver's license mẫu, the image of the latest 2025 driver's license is as follows:

Based on Section 2, Appendix X of Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA, the latest regulations on the specifications for driver's licenses in 2025 are as follows:

A driver's license is a document (printed in both Vietnamese and English) that includes information such as:

- The driver's license blank is made of PET material or material of equivalent technical standards, with a pink pattern and security symbols, and measures 85.6 x 53.98 x 0.76 mm (according to ICAO Standard Type ID-1);

- On the front of the driver's license, the words "DRIVER'S LICENSE" and "Number" are in red; the words "TYPES OF ROAD MOTOR VEHICLES ALLOWED TO BE DRIVEN", and "Date of Passing" are in bold black; other text is in black.

- The driver's photo, taken against a blue background, is printed directly on the driver's license.

- The driver's license has a security film covering both sides.

- The front of your driver's license displays the following information:

Driver's license number, Driver's full name, Date of birth, Nationality, Date of issue, Date of expiry, Issuing authority, Place of residence, Class.

- The back of your driver's license displays the following information:

The types of motor vehicles permitted to be driven (listed in Vietnamese and English), the date of passing the exam, and a two-dimensional (QR) code for quick reading and decoding of information on the driver's license and linking to the driver's license information system at the Traffic Police Department.

In addition, based on Section 3 of Appendix X of Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA, the latest regulations on printing driver's licenses in 2025 are as follows:

- Print each category of driver's license that the driver is permitted to operate (displayed in Vietnamese and English).
