This model of aircraft takes 11 minutes to fly from London to New York.
A new aircraft design could carry passengers nearly 12 times faster than the Concorde, allowing travel from England to the United States in a very short time.

According to the International Business Times, equipped with rocket boosters for takeoff, the Antipode can fly to an altitude of over 12,000 meters at a speed of 6,174 km/h. At this altitude, the aircraft's wings will detach and it will fly back to its starting point on its own. Afterward, the pilot will accelerate by activating the supersonic engines to reach a speed of 20,000 km/h.

The Antipode is designed as a private jet and can carry 10 passengers around the world at supersonic speeds. Flight times from New York, USA to London, UK are 11 minutes, from New York to Shanghai, China are 24 minutes, and from New York to Sydney, Australia are 32 minutes.
Antipode is the latest creation by Canadian engineer Charles Bombardier, building on the Skreemr concept, a supersonic aircraft capable of flying at 12,348 km/h using magnetic launch tubes for takeoff and acceleration via liquid oxygen rockets.
Antipode's design aimed to address problems with the Skreemr aircraft, such as the extremely high temperatures caused by air friction and the loud noise produced on the ground when the aircraft broke the sound barrier.
To overcome these problems, supersonic aircraft utilize an aerodynamic technique called Long Penetration Mode (LPM), which directs air along the aircraft through openings in the front to the wings and nose. There, the air is cooled and noise is suppressed.
However, Antipode is currently only a design concept and there are no concrete plans to turn it into reality.
