At the police station, Dinh confessed to using methamphetamine before pouring gasoline on his girlfriend and setting her on fire.

Regarding the case of pouring gasoline and setting two women on fire, resulting in severe burns, which occurred on March 20th in Lien Bao ward, Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc province, Duong Tien Dinh (born in 1982, residing in Khai Quang ward, Vinh Yen city) initially confessed to the police that he poured gasoline and set Ms. H. on fire due to a romantic conflict.

Ms. H. is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Accordingly, at around 4:00 AM on March 20th, Dinh went to Ms. H.'s rented room, but the victim was not home. He repeatedly called and texted his girlfriend, asking her to come home, but due to relationship conflicts, Ms. H. refused to return to her rented room, which angered Dinh. After using methamphetamine, Dinh asked a friend to buy him a bottle of gasoline (about 1.5 liters) with the intention of burning his girlfriend.

At 12 PM the same day, when Ms. H. returned to her rented room and Ms. M. came to visit, Dinh was also present. A conflict arose between Dinh and Ms. H. The suspect poured gasoline on Ms. H.'s neck to set her on fire. Seeing this, Ms. M. intervened but was also doused with gasoline and set on fire by Dinh, resulting in both victims suffering severe burns.
