Helicopter carrying tourists crashes in Russia
A helicopter carrying tourists has crashed in Russia's Kamchatka region, the emergency services said.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place in the area of Kronotsky Nature Reserve.
According to the latest information, there were 16 people on board the plane, 8 of whom survived.

"At 04:50 on August 12, 2021 (Hanoi time), there was news that a MI-8 helicopter of the Vityaz-Aero Company crashed into the Kurilsk Lake area in the Kronotsky Nature Reserve. According to preliminary information, there were 3 crew members and 13 passengers on board. The plane of the Disaster Response Center has departed for the accident site, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with rescue forces is also preparing to depart. Further information is being clarified," the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
