Helicopter loses contact in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

On the morning of October 18th, a helicopter carrying a pilot and two trainees reportedly crashed in Dinh Mountain, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, after about 15 minutes of training flight.

In an interview with VnExpress,Mr. Nguyen Nhat -The Deputy Minister of Transport said that the helicopter arrived at approximately 8:30 AM.EC130A training plane crashed in Vung Tau.The plane had three people on board: the pilot and two trainees.The 18th Brigade (Air Defense and Air Force) is stationed in Vung Tau.

The search team leader said the suspected crash site is Dinh Mountain (Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), 80 km from Saigon.

Dinh Mountain is 80 km from Ho Chi Minh City.

Pham Duc Trong, chairman of Tan Hai commune (Tan Thanh district), said he had been ordered to send people to Ba Quan ravine (part of Dinh mountain), bordering Kim Dinh ward and Tan Hai commune.
