Concrete mixer malfunctions due to electrical shock, one construction worker dies.

(Baonghean.vn) - While working with a group of workers mixing concrete to prepare for house construction, a construction worker was electrocuted by a leaking concrete mixer, causing him to be thrown out and subsequently die.

At around 7:00 AM on September 16th, Vu Van Thanh (32 years old, residing in Hamlet 11, Dien Hoang Commune, Dien Chau District) and a group of workers went to the house of Mr. Pham Van Nguyen in the same hamlet to mix concrete using a machine in preparation for repairing Mr. Nguyen's house.

However, just a few minutes after operating the concrete mixer, an electrical leak occurred, causing Mr. Thanh to be electrocuted and thrown out. Immediately afterward, the workers and the homeowner carried Mr. Thanh to a cool, well-ventilated area and applied mud for first aid, but he died more than an hour later.

Later that day, Mr. Nguyen's family assisted the family in bringing Mr. Thanh's body home for burial.

It is known that the victim, Thanh, was in difficult circumstances; his wife did not have a stable job, and they had three young children.
