In the second minute, Mbappe assisted the opening goal. Taking advantage of the opponent's sluggishness, Griezmann dispossessed Kenneth Taylor before finishing with a one-touch shot from the cross, beating Jasper Cillessen. In the eighth minute, Griezmann once again made his mark with a free kick that caused Cillessen to make a mistake, allowing Dayot Upamecano to tap into an empty net.
While struggling to find an equalizer, the Netherlands suffered another devastating blow. Mbappe surged forward from midfield to receive a through ball from Aurelien Tchouameni. The Dutch defense faltered due to a slight touch from Randal Kolo Muani and could only watch helplessly as Mbappe easily beat Cillessen. The new French captain was visibly thrilled after the goal, and so was the crowd at the Stade de France.
Koeman's adjustments seemed to help balance the Dutch lineup. However, the visitors' 58% possession throughout the match went unconverted, as they rarely troubled Maignan. Two minutes before the end of the game, the visitors made another mistake when Depay passed the ball directly to Mbappe. This time, the home striker fired a powerful, angled shot to seal the match.
The Netherlands had a chance to salvage some pride in the fifth minute of added time when they were awarded a penalty after Upamecano handled the ball. But Depay couldn't beat Maignan despite two consecutive shots, further adding to the visitors' disastrous performance.
Lukaku scores a hat-trick in the EURO qualifiers.
In the 35th minute, the 1993-born striker bravely held off defenders before heading the ball past the goalkeeper. In the 49th minute, "Big Rom" completed his brace with a close-range finish. Both of Lukaku's goals were assisted by Dodi Lukebakio, a player currently playing for Hertha Berlin.
Sweden fought back strongly after conceding two goals. However, the yellow-shirted players repeatedly slipped up, even when the Belgian goal was wide open. Zlatan Ibrahimovic also came on as a substitute, but the 41-year-old veteran's impact was too minimal.

| Georgina Rodriguez revealed her thoughts on Ronaldo's future after he left Saudi Arabia. |
Last summer, there were numerous reports that the 38-year-old had repeatedly contacted Atletico Madrid. At the time, Ronaldo was looking to secure a place in the Champions League. But the Argentinian woman revealed that he never intended to sign with the La Liga team before moving to Al-Nassr.
In the popular Spanish program El Hormiguero, the 9X beauty also revealed that moving to Saudi Arabia changed their family's routine: "Here, the club trains later because of the climate. In Manchester, we all woke up at the same time and had breakfast together before the children went to school. Now I wake up at 6:30 am, take the children to school before going home, and Cristiano wakes up later."
Rodriguez candidly admitted she wasn't a football fan, adding, "I don't like football. And because of my schedule, I can never watch the games."
